I am an artist currently living in Mumbai, India and work from my home studio.

Being a self taught artist I find inspiration primarily from nature and its creations. The patterns, textures, silhouettes and organic shapes have a strong influence in my work.  Memories, imagination and observation of nature, creates my visual vocabulary and are preserved by mark - making and documentation in my sketch book.

I consider myself as an intuitive painter who juxtaposes the elements , which are organic and geometric , positive and negative, as well as linear which has the duality of creating stories.

My paintings are impressions of life experiences and are truly a path of self discovery. It is meditative and helps me to express and balance. It has helped me overcome medical challenges for two consecutive years and that is where I drew inspiration for my statement "Art is a healing process of body to mind and mind to soul". I do get a sense of accomplishment when my art brings joy and spread smiles on to people. A journey, without a destination but still, so fulfilling, marches on.....
